About
Our Distributed Energy Conference
Join us for this day-long
conference as we focus on distributed energy solutions
such as customer sited combined heat and power projects,
district heating systems, community wind plants,
targeted energy efficiency measures, building local
bio-fuel supplies, and much more.
These distributed
and diverse energy solutions can help us to build
more resilient communities with higher levels of
energy security.
In addition, for the consumer and
local communities distributed energy solutions can
provide lower costs, higher service reliability,
higher power quality, increased energy efficiency
and local economic development. When local energy
generation uses renewable resources such as biomass,
wind, solar, geothermal or hydroelectric power,
it can provide significant environmental and additional
economic benefits as well.
For the utilities distributed
energy solutions can provide real benefits by eliminating
or deferring the need for costly and controversial
transmission projects. Furthermore, utility customers,
and whole communities, are increasingly requesting
clean local power as their preferred choice.
This
conference is an excellent opportunity for energy
professional, businesses, homeowners, local communities
and others interested
in our energy future to explore local distributed
energy technologies for our energy needs. New this
year is a pre-event reception the night before the
conference. Visit with many local and national renewable
energy businesses at their exhibits.
